One solution is, if it is a short barrel model, separate thebarrel component, from the frame component by removing the pivotscrew, and disassemble into 2 separate halves. Do not keep or havethe same person in posession or control of the separate halves. Thebarrels can be replaced with the longer 18' version at reasonablecost and the question of legality is solved. It can then be owned, sold, or used within the constraints of the law without beingsubject to the NFA restrictions. Im not saying its OK to posess theunregistered short barrel models. Im saying if they 2 halves of ashort barrel model are not together, under the control of the sameindividual, the ATF ruling does not apply. Be very careful if youare inadvertantly or unintentionally in control of one of thesethat are in violation.
The individual parts, including short barrels, are quite legallysellable on the market as repair or replacements and only the'receiver' is a controlled part, and all sub-components can be soldor purchased without restriction.
If you are in need of the longer 18' barrels, or are interestedin sellig parts, contact me Roger Watson at brddwatson@msn.com
A Marble Game Getter is the name of a lightweight double barrel gun that was designed by Webster L. Marble. The value of a Game Getter can be determined by a gun collector who will use factors such as condition and authenticity to estimate its worth.
Of course it depends upon series and condition but in very nice condition about $1,500 give or take. If you have pictures, it would help. Joe V. joyfulmamag@yahoo.com
Value will vary GREATLY based on exact configuration and condition. Expect values to start around $700- HOWEVER- if the barrels are less than 18 inches, this gun MUST have been registered with the BATF as an 'Any Other Weapon'. If it has not been registered it cannot be, and is contraband (worth nothing) and must be surrendered for destruction.
Crescent, Ithaca, Marble, Stevens, probably a few others, but those are the major ones. You won't usually find any for sale at the local gun shops but you should be able to find a few at a major gunshow. Search the online firearms auctions for Marbles Game Getter, Crescent Certified Shotgun, Ithaca Auto and Burglar Gun. * Harrington & Richardson also manufactured the Handy Gun in 410 bore & 28 gauge.
Depending on the condition it's value is between $1000 to $1800 if it has the original folding stock. Add another $400 if it has the original cardboard box.
Sorry- no such critter. Most 22 RIFLES do not have THAT much barrel. The Marble Game Getter was a .22 single shot/ .410 shotgun that was used by trappers- but was much shorter than that.
do you mean a marble that shoots BB's or can you shoot marbles out a gun. It does not matter since you can't do either of them.
Marble Blast Gold is not coming out for the DS, sorry. There is a game like it called Marble Madness. Or, if you have an R4 or other flashcart, you can download a homebrew game called Marble.
