HP Notebook PCs - Driver for SM Bus Controller in Windows This document pertains to HP and Compaq Notebook computers. When you upgrade or change the Windows operating system to a different version of Windows than was originally installed on your computer, you may have an issue with the SM Bus Controller not installing correctly.
